Process Mag (Malika Favre)

Front Cover
This is a magazine that was designed based off any artists interview on TheGreatDiscontent.com.

Table of Contents
I ended up choosing French artist Malika Favre for her amazing vector work.

Intro Spread
This became the title because in the interview, Favre talks about how she got her first big job by simply mustering up the courage to ask the designer leaving for his position and the rest was history.

Dark Spread 1
Favre has a good amount of colorful illustrations but I ended up choosing the more B&W ones that feature one or two colors (red & blue).

Dark Spread 2
Due to Favres naturally seductive work about women, the dark to light spread transition is supposed to simulate a night out with someone. The spreads and work featured visually tell the story.

Transition Spread
Every night comes to end and this specific piece in the middle helped fuel the idea of using her black based works and then transitioning into the white based works like going from night to day.

White Spread 1
Can you decipher and follow the story that the pieces illustrate throughout the design of the magazine?
