Note that none of this merch has been made, they are just ideas. My first assignment was to create a whole new line of merch.
This one was inspired by the hexagons that overlook the dance floor. Those hexagons now light up to the music and have become my favorite feature of Echo since that installation.
When presented, I created a second line of ideas around a idea that hasn’t come to fruition that was the #echofam, a Facebook group of echo fans that would have perks including exclusive merch such as this. Very DC inspired.
There was three color variations to this, one bright green, one white, and one black. This was supposed to be a fall/winter drop.
This tee design was more inviting vs the usual for nightclub design.
Another piece that was inspired by the hexagons overlooking the dance floor.
The 3 subtle logos in the back make more sense now that Echo has been declared the #1 club in the US for three years in a row now.
At the time of creation, Echo was B2B #1 club in the US so I created a cap to identify the accomplishment and would put both the years on each side of the cap.
Another variation to the playful short design that reminds me of lax shorts.
This flag was created as a Echofam exclusive that was directly inspired by the DC flag.
